I had a computer (using firefox) and sometimes that happened I got fed up bought new one (using firefox) no problem at all. I asked a guy in the shop he said the new videos have features which old computers don't have. I think that must be it.

Top fillings keep cracking?

2 weeks ago I got a couple fillings. 1 of which was on the top. I noticed about an hour or so after I left that some of the filling was on my tongue. A day later I was eating something sweet and noticed it hurt my tooth, which isn't right since I had just got it filled. The next week I go back to the dentist, tell him my tooth is bothering me, he looks at it and says its already cracked (filling cracked). They take the filling out and refill. They decide another tooth on the opposite side of top needs filled as well...so they fill it. I get home and my teeth hurt (both of them but the one they newly filled hurt worse)! There is a shooting pain when I eat cold stuff and I noticed, once again pieces of the filling in my mouth! Are they just doing a crappy job filling my top teeth? I didn't eat anything hard or sticky and I've had no problems with my bottom fillings! What gives?

My friend's ear is hurting...help?

My friend got hit in the ear and he said it started ringing for about 2 minutes. He went swimming with us today and he said when he went underwater it felt like a nail went through his ear and his throat started burning. About 2 hours later, he tried to pop it and it made a squeaking sound that everyone could hear. My aunt( shes a nurse) said that he has swimmers hear, but we think he popped an eardrum. Natural remedies for heartburn in pregnancy?

I'm only seven weeks pregnant, so I'm sure it's not the baby that's causing the heartburn, I think it's because I have such bad morning sickness, I'm throwing up all day, and when I have nothing left in my tummy to throw up it's just acid. It's really uncomfortable, and I really don't need heartburn as well as extreme nausea. I've been told by the pharmacist that I'm ok to take Rennie's and Gaviscon, but no other over the counter remedies as they are unsuitable for use during pregnancy, but the awful, chalky, disgusting taste of these tablets makes the sickness even worse. Is there any natural or herbal things I could take that wouldn't harm the baby, but would get rid of the heartburn? Thanks in advance.

My Parakeets Laying eggs?

I eat fiber one granola bars and cereal everyday because I have gotten hemorrhoids from being so constipated. the fiber one cereal isnt the best tasting thing but you only need to eat like a half of cup and you can mix fruit with it to taste better. Wierd Fungus in my basement, what is it?

My basement leaks when it rains. Water comes up from the floor so it's ussually pretty wet down there. I brought a crap load of laundry down there and just tossed it on the floor. Today I noticed a wierd whitish/greyish mushroom like things growing along the base of one of the walls near a damp laundry basket, they are also growing out of the cracks in the floor. I took some pictures but I don't know how to put them on here. What is it? Is it something I should be really concerned about? I have a small child and I'm also pregnant, so I'm really leary about going into the basement now. I don't have any money to call a profesional so what do I do?

well dude, APUSH is not that hard, its just a ton of work. reading everyday, even weekends. so if your a good reader, then you should go for it, if your thinking of going to UF, then you have a lot more tougher classes, and youll need to learn to manage your time, so i would say to take the class to help you get more experienced with AP work and if you do well enough, you wont have to take History in college since ofcourse its required before youll start doing stuff concerning your major. Go for it and take the class, its a lot of fun (if your into learning americas history in all that) the more AP classes the better your college resume will look. good look on your AP classes dude, try your hardest, manage your time, and im sure youll do well.

Army families I NEED advice :(?

What should we do about obnoxious neighbors in our building? We are on the middle floor and its been Hell since we got here :( the people upstairs have no shame whatsoever they have sex at all hours of the night sometimes right up until pt at 5 am... Im not against people having a healthy sex life but she screams and moans so loud that sometimes it echos in our parking lot :( its obvious that she is faking. Its so akward for us because between listening to her moan, the dirty talk, and the bed which sounds like it will fall through the floor on top if us we are up all night and get no sleep. One time i didnt get to sleep until they both left for PT and my poor hubby had to start is day off with no sleep :( the people downstairs fight and yell at each other all the time. Ive done everything to make them aware that i can here flushed toilets coughed stomped on the floor slammed windows, they dont even seem phased neither the top floor or the bottom. Last night they were hammering something into the wall at 1130 and thenfighting about how straight it was... My neighbors upstairs are both in the army and both get up for pt around 5 am they blast music (usually rap grrrr) and i get very frusterated because not everyone has to be up at 5am to start their day. To top it all off they both have a child. The people upstairs usually wake their baby from their loud sex noises but they leave him in his room to cry and scream while they continue their fun. Which should I buy: DS Lite or DSi?

Recently my DS Lite pretty much started breaking down. I didn't take very good care of it when I was little but I have had it for around 4 years. *Approximately? Anyway, I've had it for a VERY long time and eventually, through a combination of wear, tear, and age, it has pretty much puttered. Long story short, it's scratched, cracked, and the top screen will soon fall off. And now I feel it is time to buy a new one. Despite being 14 I still LOVE D.S. games and am loving Pokemon White. So I am going to buy a new system but it will need to be used because money's rather tight. Anyway, I looked into the DSi and thought that I should get it for the reason that it was new and improved and just better software because it's the newer model. I also thought it sounded cool because I believe, to connect to other DS gamers, you didn't need to be near each other. I believe you can just be in a Wi-Fi zone to be able to connect, i.e.: battle Pokemon etc... But as I read about the DSi I started to realize that it might not be as good as it seems. For one, the camera and the MP3 features don't apply as necessary to me. Another reason is that the battery is shortened by quite a few hours. Overall, I've realized that the DSi is almost overrated and not nearly as impressive as Nintendo makes it out to be. So, I'm just wondering if I should splurge another 20$ bucks for the newer model; the DSi? Or should I keep the 20 and go the old-fashioned way with the simple DS Lite? The big reason I'm nervous to purchase a DSi is this: I have heard that in many ways, the DS Lite is almost better than the DSi. I'm worried that I will spend an extra 20$ but really be getting scammed into buying somethings worse for something more. Please help me out here because I am having some difficulty deciding.

What's wrong with my knee?

Every time I squat to sit down, my knee crackles and then when I get up, it pops. I don't really mind the popping noise, but the crackling really makes me cringe. It sounds terrible. It doesn't really hurt but the noises bother me. I feel like me knee cap is like breaking apart or something. I try to get up in different ways to avoid my knee from cracking because I hate it so much. I'm only 13 so I'm kind of young to be having knee problems.

I broke my elbow about three weeks ago and?

the doctor said that I do not have to wear a cast because the kind of fracture that I have needs no cast. He also told me to keep it mobile, but to drop to basically nothing on the weights. I have not lifted weights in over three weeks, but when I extend my arm, there is sometimes a crack or a pop. I read online that a pop is just air moving between the joints and it is nothing to worry about. The pain in my elbow is gone. I have no problem lifting small things. I hate that store BUT I have a 9yo daughter so of course we make the trip SOMETIMES. Its only fair as girls love the fact that its a girls only store. But they really jack up the prices. The quality is very poor. fades and shrinks fast. The styles CAN be cute but they also have lots of plain things, like plain, cotton shorts that you get from Target for $5 but at Justice its $13 each IF you buy two or more. Umm, what? Is it ingrown hairs :(?

I have been getting red bumps that appear in clusters after shaving... and even though I had only used veet, a few weeks after, my butt was COVERED in red bumps... (I have shaved this area before, but that time the razor bumps appeared closer to my butt crack and went away in a couple days) they've gotten a little better but they're still there. They're like tiny pimples! I'm treating them with salicylic acid and witch hazel... it's disgusting... it runs up my back... and after shaving yesterday, a bunch of new ones appeared on my legs! I use plenty of shaving gel for sensitive skin, but I shave in the wrong direction because my hair is so thick that it won't go away unless I do. Should I get after shave? Or could this actually be something else and not razor bumps? They look just like little pimples, itch a lot, and appear in patches. And Mom won't take me to the doctor because we don't have money! Please help me please! How can I prevent them and get them to go away? It's scary because they won't fully go away... it's been this way for about a week now. :(

The bottom of my lip keeps peeling?

Well it's not really my bottom lip, its like skin right under my bottom lip. Its like cracked and keeps peeling, it has been doing this for a month already, I use chap stick and lotion but it doesn't work. It also makes my skin look darker so the pigment is darker then my normal skin color.

Centrelink Debt! Advice Please!?

Long story short.... I work full time and my partner works part time whilst staying at home with our 2 year old son during the day. When we first applied for Centrelink benefits we told them what my wage would be every week and what my partners wage would be as these wouldnt change a cent at any time. This was about 4 months ago and today we were contacted by Centrelink to say that we owed them thousands of dollars because they didnt have my partner down as working anymore. They said they have a record of him calling to report he had a job and what his income would be and then for sone reason that status was deleted. There is no record to say he contacted them to say he wasnt working anymore, a staff member there simply deleted it for some stupid reason!! The guy on the phone was quite nice and said he didnt understand why that had happened. Now we have to wait up to a month for them to tell us exactly how much we owe. Do we have grounds for appeal and if so, how long and tedious is a fight with Centrelink? Has anyone else ever taken them on and won/lost? Im so mad right now!! Grrrr

Painted over wall paper?

I need some suggestions here. I am working on an estimate for a kitchen. The existing walls in the kitchen were previously wallpapered and then painted over using latex. The problem here in lies.. The wallpaper was applied in strips and every seam is visible and 2-3 seams have split apart and cracked through the paint. The home owner had previously lifted some of the paper at a seam and it doesn't appear that the sheet rock was treated before the paper was applied. Now short of doing some demolition and re-dry-walling the entire kitchen what are my options? I'm pretty sure a steamer will destroy this the sheetrock as it is pushing sixty years old. I'm also not trying to score the paper and spray solution to spend 10 hours ripping off tiny pieces of paper because it didn't soak through the paint. I have also thought of just skim coating the entire wall with a spackle/joint compound or similar product but I'm not sure how long that will last before the paper lifts more and cracks the spackle and new paint. Any suggestions? If you have a technique you could share with a rough time-to-complete that would be great. As far as I can tell from first look only one wall will require this treatment, I would guess the dimensions at about 13' x 8' with a simple crown molding at the top, no chair rail and an electric baseboard heater at the bottom.

Why are all these tiny ants in m house?

Okay so my brother and I were in the office at our house then he spots so many tiny ants coming in from the door so our office is right next to our front door so he left the office went to the front door and spotted many many more tiny ants, I vacuumed it all but then more starts to come out of these small cracks near the front door, that is the only area they are in. Alright so i am extreamly addicted to coffee, and i ran out of it as i useally do near the end of the month and in desparation to cure my excrutiating headache and foul mood i serched my house for ANYTHING that could possibly have caffine in it. What i found was this weird tea that my brother left in the cabinet before he moved. It was these strange bowl shaped clumps of tea that were wraped in a paper with chinese written on it. I assumed it had caffine, because it looked organic. Rising senior looking for help with college idea.?

I'll be a senior as of this August and I really need some college help. For the last few years I've been planning on doing ROTC in college, getting a Bachelor's Degree of Computer Science, becoming a computer systems specialist, and joining the USAF out of the ROTC program at college. I think the idea of military and technology based majors were pushed on me by my family, but that's a different story. Any how, I realized I really won't be happy being trapped behind a computer for a career. I'm the type who needs some people to people interaction. So I figured I'd do something in the scientific field. I love science and I've always done well in the subject, I think I want to become a pharmacist or a children's physician. Is this too drastic of a change of interest? I don't want to take steps in the wrong direction for the future I want. I used to know exactly what I wanted to do, but now I'm confused and my family isn't backing me up on the pharmaceutical idea. Should I stick with technology or move to science? Any sort of advice or suggestion will be greatly appreciated even though this isn't exactly a very well put out question.

I have this issue with my nose: It has been going on for like 4 or 5 months now. It always feels extremely stuffed, and when you look up the nostrils you can that the walls are extremely inflamed to the point where I can't breathe or move air through them at all. Here is what I've tried: Claritin, Aleve D, vaporizers, Humidifiers, air purifiers, vicks, and sinex. Nothing is working. Does Furadantin work for UTIs?

I am 23 weeks pregnant and I've had a UTI for a little over 3 weeks now. I JUST got my medicine Thursday evening (2 days ago) and start taking it Friday morning. The doseage is 25 MG. Nothing has seemed to to change and I still get occasional pain on my side. I'm suppose to take this for a week, twice daily (20 ml/4tsp each time). Does it take awhile for this medicine to work or should it already be working by now? And MOST of all, is this medicine safe for my baby? The doctor and pharmacist said it is safe for the baby, but I'd just like to be for sure.

Asus battery / charging issue?

I have a fairly new asus laptop. I have a after market power supply. Last night while charging- it zapped me and shut my laptop down. When i plug my power supply in, it makes a cracking sound. I dont know if it my battery or power supply since it can still run on battery and if i remove the battery it will still run on power supply. Last night i was able to put the charger on, but i had an orange light flashing where it is either red or green, depending on charged or charging. Hope this isnt too confusing haha. Thanks!!

Training required to become a pharmacy technician?

Hello, I am going into my junior year of college and thinking about becoming a pharmacist. I figure that in addition to getting good grades and a good test score on the standardized test, a job as a pharmacy technician on the side is always a plus to get into pharmacy school. I was thinking of applying to a Walgreens or CVS because I read that they train you on the job. How long does the process of training take? I only have 2 months of summer so I figure it is too late now. But when I go back to school I was thinking of applying at the local CVS there. There is about 4 months in a school semester. Is that enough time? Or should I just concentrate on studying instead? (I am switching majors from a different field midway through college, so I still need to take all the prerequisites to get into pharmacy school)

AHHH i know exactly how you feel. I also had practice three times a week and tournaments in the weekend, and now it has been almost a month since it ended, and pre season for me starts like June 16th. I am going insane I just wanna play but i cant play by myself! So like for two hours every day i will go out and like try to set or bump my volleyball into my basketball hoop to work on ball control and hit it against my garage. I am also afraid taking so long off might hurt my skills that I had at the end of club season. Too bad we probably dont live in the same town we could like all get together and play haha.

Accidentally double dosed my Pain and anxiety medicine!! Advice needed!?

i take 3 Lortab 10/325 a day and three 2 mg klonopin a day. I usually take my first 2 lortab together in the morning because thats when i hurt the most, and the pharmacist said its OK if it take my 1st dose of klonopin with it, that it just may make me sleepy. Well, I slept in today and as usual i fumbled around to go ahead and take my morning dose of both meds when i woke up, but i fell back asleep. When i woke up, i had forgotten that i had already taken 2 lortab and my klonopin, and went ahead and took it, it didnt hit me until 10 mins later than i had double dosed. So in a 4 hour time frame i took 4 lortab 10/325, and two 2 mg klonopin. Will I overdose or will i just be really loopy? lol. kind of freaked out, thanks in advance!!

My Desktop compaq USB WIRE MOUSE wont work but the light is on?

this is extremely frustrating. I have already tried to switched to different USB ports, Restored the computer to factory settings, Unplugged replugged in every port RESTARTED... still wont move the cursor... I've even went into control Panel and Hardware and the computer doesn't even recognize that the mouse is plugged in. I know it's working because the lasor light is working on the mouse itself. So why wont my computer recognize it? Ive litterally tried everything possible. GRRRR Im so mad at this thing... @ AT,my 8 yr old daughter has had strep for the past 3 months,?

The first 2 months she was put on amoxicillin twice and Friday(2 days ago) pediatrician put her on Augment and besides it being so horrible awful ad she is taking it with some coaching,pleading etc.My daughter has not ate hardly anything since friday due to nausea and throwing up a couple times.Also diarrhea is so bad it just pours ot of her like water with no end in sight.The info from the Pharmacy says if those side effects persist or worsen to call your Dr or Pharmacist promptly. I was reading info online about Omnicef, do you think that is a good choice for someone who cant take Augmentin? The Dr thinks that the strep has stayed hidden in the crevices of her tonsils. we need something that will kick it out of there with as dangerous that strep is.I will be calling her pediatrician though it is Sunday I will get the nurse line and I am not sure if I will hear back from the Dr today.Can you let me know if you think the Omnicef is strong enough? From everything that I have read it sounds like a good choice for a child that has had Strep 3 months in a row? Thank You.

I have a question about pharmacy career?

Diane provided a good response. The misconception the pharmacy profession has had a difficult time correcting is that we "follow orders." When you think about it, a prescription is really an authorization to dispense, not an order to dispense. The pharmacist's job is to evaluate that prescription and determine if it is both safe and appropriate for the patient to whom it has been prescribed. If the pharmacist determines it is either not safe or appropriate (or a safer/more appropriate alternative exists) s/he has a legal and ethical obligation NOT to dispense it (this happens very frequently, and is remedied by consulting with the prescriber to find a more appropriate course of action; we're a team, after all...). The pharmacist basically acts as a double-check to make sure the most appropriate medication is dispensed to the patient to treat a particular ailment.

How did you react with a 10 day prescription to prednisone? The dermatologist. said take it if my contact dermatitis doesn't improve, but he said it may cause irritability or depression or even hip bone erosion that could lead to hip replacement surgery. Help ! Itouch Wont Restore !?

I Have The 4g 8gb itouch in version 4.1 And I had Jail Breaked It A Few Monthes Ago . Apparently Today While I Was Babysitting One Of The Kids Pulled The Cable That My Itouch Was Charging From And Fell And The cracked The Screen . I Did The Just Plug And Press Restore But When It finished Downloading And Started the File It Said Network Error And To Check The Network Settings and to see if my betwork connection was alright. I checked the connection and it was fine but i dont know where the network settinga are and i think thats the problem. I also tried the press and hold the power button and the of and on button and shutting it completly down but the same thing happened. I Had My Itouch plugged in the whole time so i dont know what i did wrong . Amy suggestions on how i can fix this or any other way to restore the itouch ? My boyfriends father was caulking the cracks in the backyard and my one year old boxer stepped in it while still wet. (please do not patronize me as I was not there at the time). I do not know how to get it off without tearing the skin? I tried rubbing alcohol which removed most of it off of her pad, using water after to try to get some more off. IPod Touch (4g) cracked screen, PLEASE HELP!!?

I had an ipod touch 2g. I cracked my screen. It fell in my pool so i got a new one. On my new one, It fell throwing it across the bathroom hoping it would land on the floor. I have an iphone 4 and i take good care of it so i can sell it for more when iphone 5-6 comes out. But the 2 times i cracked my screen, i couldnt care less. Its not that hard to look at. Does it bother you that all people who take narcotic pain meds seem to be vilified?

I use narcotic pain meds to treat the pain from herniated discs in my neck from an auto accident (not my fault) 5 yrs ago. I have numbness in my arm and have a horrible time sleeping unless I take a muscle relaxer, because of the extreme stiffness I get in the muscles between my shoulder blades. The stiffness causes horrible headaches that can be incapacitating. I don't like to take them and although prescribed more, only try to take them when I can't function with the level of pain anymore. The problem is that with the authorities jumping on the anti-pain med bandwagon, finding a "real" doctor who will prescribe them is very difficult. If a tylenol or advil helped I certainly wouldn't waste the money going to a doctor, or put myself through the pain of getting numbing injections directly into the back of my neck. I last went to a board certified anesthesiologist last year when I had medical coverage. I signed an agreement not to go and doctor shop for more pain meds, and I have followed this. People look at you and think you are a druggie if they find out you take narcotics. A lot of doctors won't prescribe at all due to liability. I personally think it is BS. My pain is real, but because of some bad apples, I have to jump through hoops to get the meds. Same thing with cold medicine from the pharmacist. I'm out of luck if I want to use bath salts in my bath water. There are those people out there that will find a negative use for just about anything out there. There was a professor who changed a reciprocating saw into a sex toy. Maybe now we need to ban those tools, or require ID's every time a carpenter needs to buy it. Maybe we should license it. An urn of ashes was stolen in a robbery because the idiots thought it was coke. Maybe cremation should be banned too. I think that pain is not understood by those that don't live with it every day. I think attention needs to be brought to this. People who require narcotics to feel normal because of a medical condition are being discriminated against. Sooner or later, no doctor will prescribe the meds. What do you think? Are you tired of the gov't pushing real doctors to not write the Rx's because of the local junkie?? There will always be an unscrupulous doctor out there that will write a script for 5000 pills a month. Go after those doctors and the pill mills. To me it is like the gov't not going after the doctor that commit Medicare fraud, but going after all doctors. I think that needs to stop.

What should I do if my RX medication was shorted to me at the Pharmacy?

I take Adderall for ADD. This is a controlled medication. This past friday I picked it up, brought it home, and when I opened the bottle it looked like the pills were not all there. So I counted. To my surprise, I was right, there were only 24 capsules, when there should have been 30. 6 pills were missing! Does that seem suspicious or could this just be a mistake by the pharmacist? I could see 1 or 2 being miscounted but not 6! How do I approach this situation? I want to tell the pharmacist, but do you think they would believe me, being that this medication is controlled? Would they give me the 6 that I'm owed? I paid for it! And its not cheap. I was thinking about just blowing it off and the next time I go to get it filled, I was going to tell the pharmacist that I was shorted last time and have him/her double count in front of me. What would you do?

How hard would it be if i took all of the prerequisites for Pharmacy school and Medical school?

I want to be a doctor, more specifically a radiologist. I have an average of 3.7 in high school right now, i'm going into junior year next year. I also am interested in being a pharmacist. I took APUSH in high school before I went to college for biology. However, I was able to get 6 college credits for taking APUSH, which is why I took it to begin with. Definitely keep honors chem on your schedule, and if you haven't taken physics and biology yet, why not try to take AP biology or AP physics? Believe it or not, you will need physics to get into pharm school. Biology is just as important. I would say if you feel like APUSH might detract from your studies in chemistry, then do not take it. However, if you NEED APUSH to graduate high school, then by all means take it. But again, I will say: If you feel like your grades in chemistry will slip, then your best bet would be to not take APUSH and spend more time on chemistry.

My Toenail is going to fall off, what should i do?

my toenail was to long and i stubbed it then it had a crack on the bottom of it i just noticed today. Pharmacy put medication under wrong patient's insurance?

My Mother dropped off a prescription to CVS to be filled. After my Mother picked up her prescription, a lady with a similar name came into the same CVS and dropped off her prescription to be filled (Methadone). CVS forgot to ask the lady for her DOB, address and insurance information. When the pharmacist went to process the medication and insurance information, they put it under my Mom's name, as the name was very simlar. Now, my Mother has a medication on her insurace record that she was never prescribed or given and my Mother's insurace was billed for the medication. What laws does this go against?

Why is he doing this..............?

My husband had a job that required him to spend months out of state. He started in March of this year. We we're not happy about that so he said he will leave the job once the time came for him to leave which was the end of May. Well he ended up leaving the state for the job, without saying goodbye to me our boys, who are 5 and 9 yrs old. I found out the hard way, instead of quitting he never came home that night. I ended up getting in tough with him. After a week of arguing back and forth because of course to feel better about what he did, he had to blame me, he ended up saying that he wanted us to move up where his job was. We had a rocky marriage and fought alot. He didn't like the fact that I supported the family and wanted to move ahead in his career. He hated where we lived and wanted to move back up north. He ended up losing the job and blamed me for it. to be honest, I did call there after he never came home to find out what was going on. For a month he hasn't called the children at all, when I've tried by emailing him, I told him its one thing not to want to be with me anymore, but at least call to speak to the boys, but he ignores me. Why do you think he's neglecting his children? Im a pharmacist, so financially im ok, he doesnt help out financially at all.

Persistent dry and itching skin?

My skin is too much dry and itching. Due to this dryness my skin is wrinkled and cracked. If I scratch the place of itching changes its place. In that way I have to scratch my whole body. The dryness of the skin is also to the whole body. The dryness will increase during rainy and winter seasons. Applying moisturizers give temporary relief. Yes it is. That pharmacist should not have been allowed to graduate if they don't know that antibiotics affect birth control pills. Also why were you prescribed phenegran? That isn't a pain killer and really would not have any effect on a UTI. It's for allergies.

this hard drive is pluged in via usb cable and it wont work for me. it would switch on and auto play and then switch off until i kept plugging in and unplugging usb plugs. it has all my downloads on there so it may have a few virus' but ive scanned abillion times so i dont think so. tried rebooting tried swapping usb ports tried blowing the dust out of the ports but it wont work!!! grrrr. please help! thanx to everyone that helps

I just had my finals week and i worked insanely hard. Ive had all A's in honors classes in high school so far, im a sophomore, and i got an 86 on my honors chem exam which makes my final grade a B. How to tell my sister to stop putting me down?

i have a twin sister and she has been very annoying. a few weeks ago, i told her that i want to become a pharmacist, and i'm aware of the challenging classes that i will take in the future. she goes on and bring me down. she said " you won't make it to pharm schools since you're getting old and do not have a science background" i took some sci'm 24 years old by the way. she said the family might need my help financially right now. my parents are getting old, but they do make money somewhat (we're immigrants so we don't make a lot of money). she drives me nuts, i don't know how to shut her up. we're taking a summer class right now and we have to share the same car and she just won't shut up. i don't know what to do. she brings me down every time we talk about my career. i told her to stop talking about my career b/c , really, it's none of her business. she said it is her business b/c i'm going to make my family poor by staying in school too long. i told her that i will make a lot of money when i graduate from pharm school. while i'm still taking prerequisite classes, i can work as a pharm technician to help my parents out financially. by the way, she got accepted into a nursing school and will attend this fall. she is so annoying! she said i will start a career later than her b/c it will take me at least 6 more years to finish prerequisite classes and pharm school. oh my god. i can't stand her anymore. i try to avoid talking to her when she talks about pharmacy to me, but we're in the same car!!! Dark spots or burns on my face?

i got an acne cream and the pharmacist said that it has bleach in it to to get rid of the scars....i don't have much acne but i do have some little skin colored bumps so i put the cream on most areas of my face i washed it off today and i look horrible! my face is light but i have some dark spots or chemical burns i feel sooo upset.... what do i do?????? how long will it take for the spots to gp away??? :"(

I saw a film a while ago about colonial america and I was wondering what it's called?

erm.. well a few years ago now I watched a film on TV about the colonialists in america travelling with bullock carts. erm if it helps I remember there were fights between the native people and the colonialists and a woman got her leg run over by a cart and had it amputated but died in the process. also there was a huge thing about cholorea and they had to split up into people who had been in contact with the woman who died of cholorea and the people who hadn't. its really annoying because its such a good film and i want to see it agian. grrrr

If description is so important then how can you be overly descriptive?

If you add too much description in the beginning it will be too much work in the end. You won't be able to figure out how to add more description without making it sound like the beginning. Find a happy medium and work with it. I, personally, like a lot of description in my stories because then it makes me read every sentence and the mental picture stays in my mind but I guess you can't make everyone happy. Good luck :D

Well, one requires a doctorate and the other requires......well, I actually have no idea what a tour guide requires. It's tough to pick a career that's the *opposite* of a pharmacist, but I don't know how much less alike two careers could be.

Fouling Fish tank Problems?

so I'm getting a 37 gallon + fish tank tommorow because my fish tank is becoming poluted, and slowly poisoning my fish.(i had to put them in a 10 gallon cuz my other fish tank cracked...i have 1 angel, 1 bolivian ram, 1 african featherfin catfish, african brown knife fish and a bristle nose pleco) i need to put them in the tank quickly cuz idk how much longer they can survive in there. so is there anyway for me to put the fish in the newly bought fish tank right away? the old tank is a 10 gallon fish tank with 2 filters a 10 gallon filter and a 25 gallon filter. can i thuroughly clean out the filter and use that in the new fish tank along with the new filter? because lately the fish tank is fouling up even with water changes, and with all those filters and causing alot of funky smells to come up. can i just use the 25 gallon filter on the 37 gallon tank with the new filter to get the cycle going and the fish established?

is it a boil? kinda sounds like that. they are very painful. hot compresses may help if it is. Drawing salve would draw out any infection, but I would think the pharmacist would have been able to tell if that is what it was.

Pharmacy program is very similar to Medical program in US. Generally it is 4 years of BS and the. 2-4 years of Pharmacy. There are accelerated programs as well and they all depend on schools and individual students.

Grrrr, breastfeeding!!!?

I breastfed my 20 month old son til he was 10 months. Yes there were times I wished I bottle fed just so someone else could do it because I was tired but I kept with it and glad I did. Now i'm breastfeeding my 2nd son who is 14 weeks old. I had a few problems with latching but all is ok now and I don't wanna give up til he is a year as i'm happy and comfortable. But my 2nd son cries alot more than my 1st and I do get a little stress when I can't soothe him, but I take it all. :) but it really gets on my nervous when people tell me to give up feeding and give him a bottle. I would be more stressed having to clean and sterilise and make up and warm bottles. I LOVE BREASTFEEDING but I don't tell people how they should fed their babies as its their personal choice.
