Dark spots or burns on my face?

i got an acne cream and the pharmacist said that it has bleach in it to to get rid of the scars....i don't have much acne but i do have some little skin colored bumps so i put the cream on most areas of my face i washed it off today and i look horrible! my face is light but i have some dark spots or chemical burns i feel sooo upset.... what do i do?????? how long will it take for the spots to gp away??? :"(
