He was kidding...right?

okay, long story short, my...friend told me he loved me. right out of the blue. completely random. we were talking about how because we are seniors, we will be leaving the school next year and i told him to tell me why he would miss me. he wouldn't tell me, then i was like,'grrrr' and his response is: 'i luv u'. he's...kidding right? the night before, he took me to the senior formal and everyone swears i have him in the palm of my hand, but, that was just random. i played along and was like, 'no you don't.' to which he responded ,'yea i do!!' and basically i changed the subject like a pro before it got too awkward. then he asked me to give him something of mine like a necklace or bracelet so he can have it to remember me by. he can't be serious, like, this guy is not the type to put that out there. all my besties say he was serious, but c'mon, he was only kidding right?
