I didn't tell anyone what my career will be..everyone knows about it?

I usually keep my career choice pretty quiet b/c i don't like to show off. right now i want to become a pharmacist one day. suddenly everyone in my church knows that i want to pursue a career in pharmacy and yes everyone is treating me better now (i feel more special i guess). yet i don't want them to know. the thing is i'm afraid i won't make it for pharmacy and yet everyone knows. what if i won't make it. that will be embarrassing. i guess my question is, what should i do? i mean, i feel weird b/c everyone knows that i want to become a pharmacist. i'm afraid that i won't make it and people are looking up to me. :(
