Can i get a bachelors degree at NYU and then transfer to The University of Texas for pharmacy school?

I'm in high school and i live in Texas. I want to be a pharmacist . I'm pretty much sick of Texas. I want to go some where exciting and do not want to go to the university of Texas even thought i know its one of the best pharmacy school. To say i were to get excepted into NYU could i go there and get my bachelors degree in chemistry and then apply to the university of Texas's pharmacy school and go there afterward to complete pharmacy school?
