Do you go out without your boyfriend or girlfriend?

I am 25 and I live with my boyfriend. We have been dating for almost 2 years. I can go out with my friends or go to visit them... if they're girls. But I have a new job and all the people like to get together like once a week. I have only gone to one of these events because of my boyfriend.. and my boyfriend came too and met them all. Tonight after work everyone is going out to watch the soccer game at a bar. My boyfriend works late so he can't come... and he got angry at me for saying I was going. Most of the people I work with are guys but now he has met them and shouldn't be angry or jealous at me. I feel like I am not allowed to be independent or have fun or friends on my own without him... so he left for work all angry without even saying goodbye to me.... and his behaviour will make me not go and have fun and then I will just be upset and angry because I am frusterated at his jealous and stupid attitude!! grrrr what would you do????
