Is it a good idea to transfer to a university ?

Ok so I'm planning on going to a community college for 2 years for basics and to get an associates then after those 2 years I want to transfer to university of arizona to major in pharmacy and become a pharmacist . Is this a good idea ??? And also Would it cost less for me to go to uofa ?? Can I get enough money from fafsa to live in tthe dorms at uofa ??
