Getting rid of this cough while pregnant?

I'm 25 weeks into my pregnancy and I've had this cough for about three days now. I've tried the generic brand of mucinex dm (a pharmacist recommend it) and clartin and still no help. I tried the honey and lemon remedy, and also the saltwater gargle and nothing! help please!
