Is taking chemistary online when your in highschool hard.?

i am going to grade 12 next year and will be going to college and want to go became a pharmacist but my school is not offering a chemistry course for that year. can i still get into college without chemistry and also my school is offering that course online and should i take in online. if so is it hard online.
