A USB flash drive file got... destroyed. Help?

I don't really think there is an answer for this. You saved it as a 62kb file, that is what it should have been. Second, don't even understand the need for a converter unless it gets opened in a different version of Word. Have no idea about any of this because there is no logic behind it.
