From Pharmacist to Doctor?

I would love to be a doctor, but I do not believe I could afford med school. Combined, my parents only make 50,000 a year. I have been considering becoming a pharmacist through a six year program instead, and after working a number of years applying to med school. Is this a good idea? I really am interested in studying pharmacy, I just don't like the job itself very much (I've job shadowed pharmacists before). However, I love the job of a Radiologist, and the study to become a doctor.
